Originally from New York, Ellen earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law and still maintains her Connecticut Bar admission. She lives in Southport with her husband, John, where she enjoys her walk to the beach and peaceful mornings near the water. Ellen and John have raised 3 children in Fairfield and are actively involved in the community. Ellen is a longtime member of the Westport YMCA, a music lover and an avid long-distance swimmer who has been logging 3 to 4 miles a week for 25 years.
