About Nancy Murray McFadden

Nancy earned her real estate license in 2013 and after working for a small firm joined the Preferred Properties Team at Compass in 2020. Nancy brought her love for renovation and design into the real estate arena. Nancy knows the unique and varied personalities of local communities. She has been commended “for a great eye for emerging properties and first time homes”. Recently she did her first flip and loved the process of seeing potential and transforming a property.
A resident of the Denver area for over 25 years, Nancy lives in Cherry Hills Village with her husband Scott, her mini golden doodle, Bear and new yellow labrador puppy named RIver.  They have three children in college, Villanova University, Denison University and Virginia Tech, . Real estate runs in her veins – her husband is a residential developer and her maternal grandfather, Edwin B. Mahoney was a well known custom builder on the Philadelphia Main Line.

Nancy grew up in Palm Beach, Florida where most of her family still live. It was in the Florida sunshine that she first developed her love of the outdoors and nature. These interests lead to jobs with the National Audubon Society – first in New York City doing administrative work, and then running a Nature Sanctuary in Tiburon, California. Her first job in Denver was Director of Visitor Services at the Museum of Natural History, now renamed the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Living in Colorado has further embraced this love of nature and the outdoors.

Nancy enjoys meeting people and looks forward to working with you whether for a first home or your forever home.
